This top-up final year bachelor degree programme is for applicants who either are
business related diploma holders, e.g. Higher Diploma/Professional Diploma/Graduate Diploma in business field, or well experienced
managers, i.e. about 5 working experience in managerial positions, without formal academic background. Experienced & matured
working adults can accelerate earning a BBA degree in one year through the study path of this programme.
Course Objectives
Graduates should learn management skills and administration knowledge in various
fields in this final year undergraduate degree study programme so they can apply what they learned directly to their working
environments.
Course
Outline (Subjects of final year BBA degree programme)
1.
Human Resource Management
Functions of human resource management, individual differences in job performance,
job analysis, recruitment & selection, performance appraisal, training, manpower planning and strategy.
2. Marketing Management
External operating environment: industry life cycle, strategic window &
environment scanning, the emergence of strategy, marketing development strategy, competitor analysis, investment policy, and
strategy implementation.
3. Operation & Production Management
Production function, product choice, control of variety, control of value, factory
location, design and layout of a factory, facilities management, and cost and budgetary control.
4. Finance Management
Financial environment, financial forecasting, time value of money, capital budgeting,
trade credit, risk and return, financial statement analysis.
5. Investment Management
This module is to introduce the basic idea of investment management, e.g. investment
decision theory, securities analysis, modern portfolio theory and bond analysis. Tools for analyzing investment environment
will be discussed. Students will understand the nature of different types of investment products and apply the investment
techniques in light of risk-return trade-offs.
6. Business Case Study
Case approach techniques. Students are required to read different cases and recommend solutions to solve the case
problems by applying learned management concepts and techniques.
7. Graduation Project
Exemptions
Graduates of Diploma in Financial Management of our organization will grant exemptions for above subjects of Financial
Management & Investment Management.
Degree Award
Students who pass all coursework and assignments of all subjects will award Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
from International University of Business and Law of Ukraine.
